Gypsys Kiss are a versatile band of musicians. They'll play Irish Music, Ceilidh, Scottish, Folk, Barn Dance. They'll play at Weddings, Parties, Pubs, Restaurants and even on boats.

Dave Rowlands ~ Jo ~ Mike Edwards

Whatever happened to the "Boat Band" from those Sunday nights at Crockers when you couldn’t fall over 'cos the pub was so packed? Well they're still around having changed their name back to "Gypsy's Kiss" to avoid mistakes with the two other Boat Bands around.

Still playing and enjoying their music... sometimes with a different fiddle player to cover Jo but basically the same brand of Irish/Scottish (traditional and modern) music with a bit of a kick and the odd chunk of Bluegrass, Country or Rock and Roll depending on the audience.

Mick Ray fills in for Jo sometimes and as well as great fiddling, his skills on the keyboard add another flavour to the music. Here the lads are playing at the "Sergeants Mess" in Canterbury on "Paddies night” (picture right obviously taken quite early on as the lads seem fairly upright).

GK at "A Walk to Remember" for St Peters Hospice  2008

From The Dubliners to the Pogues and Saw Doctors and from Daniel O'Donnell to Hal Ketchum and Buddy Holly and the odd waltz and foxtrot thrown in for good measure. Jo enjoys her “Barn dance calling” she is specially good with beginners. If asked can happily pull out some “line dances”.

Dave ~ Stuart Gordon ~ Mike

Stuart Gordon a well known musician internationally as well as on the Bristol music scene famous for the "exploding violin trick" (recently performed halfway up Mt Takamine) and his beaming smile sits in occasionally to burn a few hairs off his bow. Here with the lads in one of his quieter moments (the tablets seem to be working nicely, Ta)
